When he greeted her smirk grew into an easy grin.  Of course they were sharing a joke… but also how could she not when faced with a smile like that? 

"I should say the same to you!  It's only a few weeks into the semester - I'm sure they'd let you back in."  She shifted uneasily on her feet as she watched his face closely.  For all their correspondences, run-ins, and general history this felt new - this playfulness.  Well at least it felt new being this blatant about it.  And well… it felt like a bit like she was pushing a boundary somehow.
