Tabi watched quietly as Mr. Ollivander moved into the shop. She didn't follow, unsure as to whether or not she was supposed to, so she stayed by the front, letting him work unencumbered by her presence. She caught a glimpse here and there as he moved about, but waited patiently until he returned with three wands in tow.
Watching him curiously as he laid out each box, Tabitha had to admit she hadn't the faintest idea what caused him to select them, but he was the master of the craft. It was a wonder, she thought, for him to have such telling choices. Every witch and wizard had a wand and Mr. Ollivander took the responsibility for matching the two on some level, it was quite inspiring, really.
She still felt some level of awkward about borrowing a wand, each of these wands was destined for another person, but she supposed, perhaps, it would be so bad. They were all quite different, and different from her own, though she recognized the one as pine, same as hers. Gently she plucked the pine wand from the box as it was the one he had the most to say about, and wondered, if anything, would give an indication as to whether or not they would be temporary friends.
