Penny didn't want Nemo to leave, but rather this new version of him formed in their months apart. She felt out of sync from him, like a wrench in their gears. Where she once knew how he would react to anything she had to say, she was now second guessing saying anything at all. If her apology made things worse between them, did that then mean her reaction in Paris was also what caused such a disfunction? Was there something else she was meant to say that would have saved them from this path?
