based off this chitty chitty bang bang subplot.
Character A and Character B are married and are disgustingly in love. At least that is what the world and Character B think. Secretly, Character A has been trying to murder Character B for years and Character B keeps unknowingly avoiding death traps, surviving without realizing they almost died, thinking things were accidents that they narrowly escaped from, etc.
