Tig had watched wide-eyed as Ellory actually fell out of the dragon. She'd have been more surprised if the spell had hit her and she hadn't fallen but it was different imagining such a thing than it was actually witnessing it for real. She'd wanted to peer over the edge to see where she'd landed, to admire her handiwork, but she caught herself after two steps. She couldn't afford to be seen at the top of the dragon, she also couldn't afford to be seen leaving the dragon and it would be incredibly difficult to check if the exit was clear from inside.
Short of miraculously finding an invisibility cloak her best option was to disapparate which is exactly what she did. As this was her house she could apparate directly into her own bedroom and quickly rejoin the party, hopefully before anyone found Ellory. As the adrenaline started to subside, Tig began to hope she hadn't actually killed Ellory. All she'd really wanted was to cause a miscarriage but if she was actually dead it would've been rather anticlimactic. It would also ruin her party if Ellory's corpse got in the way of the New Year fireworks. Maybe she shouldn't have pushed her out of the dragon, a flight of stairs in the servants quarters would have worked just as well - if not better - and been a great deal more private.
