He hadn't taken Arithmancy in his day, but Elsie had, and he was fairly certain it was full of numbers and complicated gibberish a theoretical subject, so he was looking forward to seeing if Miss Whitledge might actually stand a chance against the older witch, be she professor or not.

Tybalt raced through the rules and then waved at Miss Whitledge to commence with the first spell.
