Did You Know?
Braces, or suspenders, were almost universally worn due to the high cut of men's trousers. Belts did not become common until the 1920s. — MJ
Had it really come to this? Passing Charles Macmillan back and forth like an upright booby prize?

July, 1890 — Ollivander's, Diagon Alley

From an outside perspective, no one would have thought to accuse Domitian of being an overly involved father. His conversations with his children were just the same as his conversations with anyone: brief, concise, cool and logical. It might have been perplexing, then, that he insisted on being present for all of their Hogwarts shopping that summer, particularly when that meant scheduling shorter trips on each weekend rather than accomplishing the list all in one go. Domitian was, however, invested in his children — and therefore in their magical education — and, it followed, in their choice of wand.

"Go on," he said to his daughter as they approached the exterior door of Ollivander's. "You're their customer, today."

He curled the fingers of his left hand up just enough to touch the tip to the butt of his own wand, hidden away in the interior of his sleeve as it always was.

Bree made this!
