Ruby's birth chart!

set by MJ
I was born on the 25th of May 1873, in London. That would make my placements the following:
Rising/Ascendant - Leo
People with this ascendant are looking for admiration and praise. They thrive in the spotlight and they tend to be popular. Their natural confidence draws people in. On the downside, they could feel depressed if they don't feel appreciated. Furthemore, they may come off as overly arrogant to others.
I believe that this placement is rather fitting for me, particularly when I was younger. It is said that the rising sign is more prominent during someone's youth.
The rising sign is also said to influence physical features. It is something that not all astrologists agree upon, but it should be noted that I do possess the wide, strong bone structure said to be given by this ascendant.
Sun - Gemini
A certainly misunderstood sign. Geminis are said to be two-faced, however, I believe they give this impression because they are terribly open-minded and don't want to commit to just one side or opinion. They are curious and intellectual and like to look at things from various acets. They have a natural curiosity.
I believe that this placement is somewhat fitting for me. I am curious and I can be very thorough for the subjects that interest me.
Moon - Taurus
The moon sign shows the way we display and regulate our emotions. People with moon in Taurus are in need of stability. They enjoy having comforts in life and love being pampered. This is certainly something that I resonate with.
Mercury - Taurus
This is the planet related to anything intellectual. Having this planet in Taurus shows a person who is very devoted to whatever it is they are interested in. They make good scientists, for they are very careful about doing a good and thorough job when it comes to researching. I believe that this placement is stronger in my twin, Topaz, but I can see how Taurus influences me to be passionate about the things I love.
Venus - Taurus
Venus is the planet that signifies relationships. People with an earth sign in Venus, such as Taurus, seek stability and comfort in their relationships. They feel loved when they are secure. It is said also that women with a Taurus in Venus may be looking to marry above their station, seeing that Taurus is a lover of luxury and comforts.
It is true that I am looking for stability in a future partner, though I cannot call myself shallow enough to be looking at his material possessions!
Mars - Libra
Mars is named after the Roman God of war and it signifies the way we handle confrontation and conflict in our lives. Libra isnt the best placement to have in this planet, as it makes for an indecisive individual. People with Mars in Libra tend to take way too long to make decisions and that hinders them.
I am on the fence for this in regards to me. Even though I can be quite insecure, I've also acted before thinking in the past.
Jupiter - Leo
Jupiter is the planet of expansion and good luck. My placement is in Leo, which somewhat compliments my ascendant. People with this placement grow when they feel confident about themselves and their abilities. So, in order for them to succeed, they need to cultivate this self-confidence. They should be careful not to overdo it, however, as they could become overly aggressive and pompous.
This is a placement that sounds like me. In my youngest years, I had too much confidence in myself and my abilities. Due to certain personal reasons, I lost that self-confidence which was also detrimental.
Saturn - Aquarius
Saturn is like a father, a teacher. This placement can show up in our life as a lesson we need to learn to move forward and become better. Aquarius is a curious placement to have. People with this placement are at conflict with themselves and their desires. They are driven by their desire for freedom.
Seeing that I have a Taurus stellium in my chart, I believe that the Earth energy overpowers this placement. However, it is very possible that it might come up later in my life, as a lesson I need to learn.
Neptune - Aries
This is a generational planet and this placement shows people who fight for their ideals.
Pluto - Taurus
Pluto is the planet that shows hidden desires and urges. Taurus has a strong earth energy, which could translate as someone who is overly traditional and rigid in their ways, in their quest of security. Due to my upbringing, I cannot say I am overly traditional. That being said, I am quite headstrong, which I believe is due to the Taurus energy.
