David responded with a shrug. Of course he remembered Thom existed. The difference was, he liked Thom. Thom wasn't a boring spoil sport. And while he probably thought David was a bit of an idiot at times, he at least knew how to have a good laugh at times. David wasn't sure if Albert even knew how to laugh anymore. He was always so serious.

"I already saw him this week," he said, as if that was the only explanation needed, "He also wasn't almost murdered by a woman."
