Zelda always found Alfred charming, but particularly so when he was talking about boats - he was always so excited, and her smile brightened just to listen to it. That was admittedly part of the motivation behind her gift - she knew that it would get Alfred talking about sailboats.

"I haven't," she admitted, "But that sounds incredible." She could picture Alfred taking a sailboat nearly-sideways in the wind, cutting through water - that seemed exactly like something he would do. Not for the first time, she wished that she was allowed some of the adventure that he was - he knew sailboats so well he could play around in them.
