Dear Cyrano,I confess I find this assignment rather difficult in practice. How strange to keep from exchanging names when we have been classmates for at least five full terms. While our instructions are not to reveal our names, perhaps we can make discovery a bit of a game.
I find more and more time spent in the library, which I adore, but I love the outdoors. While I prefer more warmth to the climate, these autumn days are beautiful. I miss ready access to stables, of course. I envy you your fox companion! I adore animals. Have you ever seen the open ocean? I remember the first time I saw dolphins, and I will swear there is no better creature.
Have you joined any school clubs? I serve as president of a newer club, but I may come too close to rulebreaking if I divulge which.
Your friend in secret,
Helena
