Sloane,Happy fourteenth birthday. I wasn't sure how your family planned to celebrate following the match, but I hope it isn't spent alone in your bedroom. I've gotten you a gift anyhow.
(I know it isn't much, but I found it in a muggle shop here in Godric's Hollow and it reminded me of you. You take muggle studies, so I assumed you couldn't hate muggle things that much, and I know you're not fond of girly things but it's not like muggle shops sell broom accessories. You don't have to keep it; one of the charms would fit nicely Splash's collar if you don't like it. You could throw it away even and it wouldn't hurt my feelings. Promise.)
How is your brother doing? Your family? I hope they haven't barred you from quidditch. [Insert student name] told me his friend told him that they were glad you wouldn't be on the team anymore, but I think it's wishful thinking that they'll ban girls from quidditch. (For the record, I don't think they will. Robins was the only one who didn't really get hurt, so what would be the logic?)
I suppose I'll see you at school. Save me a seat at the table?
Yours,
Sloane Bixby
