Well, at least she wasn't sprinting full speed away from the idea, even if she was obviously less than thrilled with it. Not that Beau was particularly pleased himself, either. This wasn't how he imagined proposing marriage to Eva. There was to be no awkward ask to court or enjoying one another's company at various events. He wouldn't have to agonize over how and when to propose, or what Conall would say. Beau had, when he allowed himself to anyway, pictured marrying Eva every way but this one.
