Phyri breathed an internal sigh of relief as Mr. Fisk worked, first on the sketches and then on a letter to follow up some line of inquiry. For someone so proud of her own independence, she hadn’t expected it to feel quite so cheering to have someone outside her family - and outside the Ministry, entirely outside of his career! - offer to help without any expectation of recompense.
All that to say, she was considerably cheered by his visit today, although as of yet his research efforts had not offered her anything more concrete than a little direction, and a sliver of hope. Arven Fisk did not seem terribly put off by oddity, at least.
“How about a few worms?” Porphyria replied, much better able to keep a neutral expression by, well, having a beak. A second later, she’d cracked up - she hadn’t reached that point of desperation quite yet.
“No, I’ll be fine,” she said with a small huff and a sigh. “You’re always welcome to visit, though, now that you know where we live.” That stood whether he got anywhere in his investigations or not; she suspected even the novelty of being able to fly would wear off eventually. “I could use the company.”
