At the nod and hop of permission, Arven straightened out the sketches and, with a couple of murmurs of "Geminio", used a Doubling Charm to make two copies of each. The originals he stacked up and returned to where he'd found them. One set of copies he folded and put in his pocket; he would keep these for personal reference as his ill-advised investigations continued.

And the other set of copies he would send to Gringotts. Because time was of the essence, and he knew Miss Dempsey would not mind the dull social faux pas of writing a letter in someone else's company, Arven withdrew a spare piece of parchment and a self-inking quill from his "Mary Poppins bag" of a pocket, and scribbled a quick note.

"I'll send this as soon as I can", he folded the copies into the letter and kept hold of them. A pause as he considered the wry little bird, who had admirably not abandoned her sense of humour with her skin, and was very much playing the hand she'd been dealt. "Is there anything I can do to make this whole thing a bit more bearable?" Arven asked, wondering what he could do that a household of servants couldn't. "Anything I can bring you?"
