Did You Know?
Braces, or suspenders, were almost universally worn due to the high cut of men's trousers. Belts did not become common until the 1920s. — MJ
Had it really come to this? Passing Charles Macmillan back and forth like an upright booby prize?

Dear Mr. MacTire,

Excuse my writing you out of the blue, but I have excellent news to share. Please find enclosed an excerpt from New Research for Wizardkind, Spring 1890 Edition, which was published earlier this week; the section enclosed can be found on pages 22-36.

I imagine you can connect the dots, but in case it is not clear, this is my research. Finally, the culmination of so many years of interviews is out in the academic community. I write to you specifically to thank you for all of your help throughout the years, as without your early guidance I am uncertain I would have been able to reach this point. I am optimistic both that this research will change the conversation in the scholarly community and that it will open up new avenues for discovery in the future.

Onward!
M
