Archer leaned in to take a better look at the passage Claire was referring to. Her skimmed it quickly, and frowned, "I'm not sure. It's difficult to tell because some books are just speculation. I wish vampires would write their own books. Then again, information on their talents and weaknesses might make it easier for people to hurt them."

Claire was one of those rare people with whom he could speak to without stuttering out every other word.

"If only we could run an experiment. That would solve that mystery once and for all!" He paused, glancing toward the forest, not particularly relishing in the idea of entering it.
