Maggie rolled her eyes as she made her way back from the stove with the stew and set it down on the table. "Let's just hope I don't look like that's the case too soon," she said with a slight grimace. It wasn't so much that she didn't want people to find out she was pregnant. She was actually more worried of how her body would change in the end. And, a bit self consciously, she worried that Lorcan would fall out of love with her as a result.

Pushing the thoughts from her head, she focused on the dinner before them. "Let's get to dinner. Tomorrow is a new day," she said with a smile. They'd just take it day by day. If she focused too much on it now, she'd likely exhaust herself with stress.
