I myself am also the eldest of my siblings, and so understand the what a privilege and what a weight it can be to serve as a leader in that way. I confess, some of my siblings have followed my lead more expertly than others, and I do sometimes wonder if my own unmarried state allowed my younger brother to drift as he has. I should so hate, though, to burden a stranger with the follies of my sibling!

I am afraid I lack an artistic eye You must be a talented artist indeed if you so readily share the fruits of your labours—another sign of courage, I expect! I myself have no artistic talents, but am sure I could appreciate anything you might compose.
