Did You Know?
Braces, or suspenders, were almost universally worn due to the high cut of men's trousers. Belts did not become common until the 1920s. — MJ
Had it really come to this? Passing Charles Macmillan back and forth like an upright booby prize?

Somewhere in the Forbidden Forest
Daytime

Lorelei was bored. She couldn't venture out from under the shade of the trees during the daytime, as she would either be burned in the sunlight eventually or be subjected to remarks about her corpselike appearance and vampirism by witches and wizards who thought themselves higher than her due to the fact they were not undead. If Lorelei had actually had a say in the matter of whether she were to be turned or not, she would, given the fact she had now spent four centuries in this cursed state between dead and alive, have said no. While not being able to die of natural causes was certainly very beneficial - she had, for example, acquired an expert knowledge in magic and magical theory than most mortals could ever dream of acquiring, was fluent in many languages and had survived many a disease - the social stigmatization that came along with it was, to put it mildly, not something one would want for themselves in the slightest.

She had read in the paper that some peabrain from the United States had messed with time. How foolish, she thought to herself. Granted, if she could, she would have probably done the exact same thing; she would've traveled a few centuries into the past to either save her mother or to slay Kazimir before he could have ever turned her. The latter would definately have resulted in her demise, though, and even though she was sick of being undead by now, she very much liked walking the Earth. As a result of the Floridian's messing with time, this day would now, in fact, be two days long and other abnormalities in the flow of time and space were to be expected. She had heard of rooms disappearing, as if they had never been built, and sometimes the disruption in the time-space continuum even aided her in hunting animals around the forest, as it slowed them down, making them easier targets.

However, even though she had just penetrated the neck of an unsuspecting animal with her fangs and it's blood was still fresh & warm on her chin, her throat dried up. It felt as if she had not had a single drop of blood in days. It felt as if she was about to die of thirst. She fell to her knees and flailed around, making any sound her suddenly dry throat would permit her to make in order to draw attention to herself. No doubt, this was yet another consequence of the disruption in time.

Open to anyone who might have a reason to be in the Forbidden Forest (unless you're a vampire hunter).
