Despite having been referred to as Miss Smith throughout the entirety of her life in England, Jo still despised the sound of it. It was rigid and formal in a way she never quite fit in with. She would nearly always rather feign familiarity with someone than have to hear Miss Smith all the bloody time. Thankfully, she was able to get away with it in most of the countries she visited. It was merely something she would have to suffer throughout her time here.

"Miss is right. I'm not yet experienced enough to be considered a doctor, plus it would require far more schooling than I'd have the patience to sit for." Hogwarts had been such a hit or miss with her interests. If not for her loftier pursuits, she wouldn't have survived it past her fifth year. OWLs level education could only have gotten her so far.
