Eugene nodded along. He too thought that about himself most of the time- and that's what usually led him to the hospital in instances like this. "A fatal flaw we men have." He shrugged and chucked, reaching for his jacket. Though Marlena could sometimes give him a run for his money in that regard, she was rather much smarter than he was and therefore more careful.

"I only have sisters, so I suppose I have to make up for the entire family." Or so his mother had told him on occasion growing up. He supposed there was some truth to it. Eugene rarely did anything half-assed, whether it was getting in trouble, climbing something he wasn't supposed to, quidditch or now work, nobody could ever accuse him of being nonchalant about whatever moved him at that particular moment in time. Looking back there were several instances of stupidity for sure, but he survived up until now. Everything was just a scar and a story by this point.
