Mac: I failed a pop quiz today.
Immie: Why? What happened?
Mac: Well, one of the questions was, "In case of Fiendfyre, what steps would you take to protect yourself?"
Immie: And?
Mac: And apparently "FUCKING LARGE ONES" was not an acceptable answer.

Jamie: I say, make every night special.
Mac: Okay, well that's a fun philosophy and all, but not everyone can follow that, okay? Because we have responsibilities. We have budgets. We have three children, you know.
Immie: Speaking of, where are our children?
Mac: I don't know.
Immie: Nursery, maybe?
Mac: Maybe.

Immie: I literally couldn't care less what other people think of me.
-Later, lying awake at 2 am-
Immie: [shoving Mac awake] Mac... Mac, wake up. No, don't go back to sleep.
Immie: Was I annoying today? I just really want to know.

Izzy: Papa, can I have a story?
Mac: Once upon a time, there was a little girl who drove her Papa so crazy he decided to sell her to the circus.
Izzy: An evil circus?
Mac: No, a nice one - with monkeys.
Izzy: Thank you.
