“Ne,” he said quickly. He was completely fine. There was nothing to be laughing or teasing about-and certainly not squinting at him like he’d lost his mind. It was a valid question! And completely different than his retrospectively inappropriate offer.

Apparently with their positions reversed (Ahn-Bo being the shy one, Seojin-a being the tease), his friend took his role seriously. The confident look in his golden eyes sent a little shiver through Ahn-Bo. He didn’t think the vampire was trying to be overly charming and flirty, but it was difficult not to think that way as he leaned in even closer. He was still just joking… right? They hadn’t switched roles to the point where Ahn-Bo was oblivious and Seojin-a was the one who wasn’t.

He laughed in disbelief, “Seonjin-a, jugeullae?” This did nothing to cure his cheeks from turning pink as the image of his friend sitting in his lap popped into his mind. Nope, better not think of that right now. Ahn-Bo would be horrified if the vampire caught onto that particular line of thinking and how his body was reacting to it… so he grabbed hold of his end of the rope in the mental game of tug-a-war and gave it a strong yank.

“Jinja?” he quirked a brow, purposely not providing any context to whether he was joking, or actually asking for real. “Are you trying to tell me something, Seojin-a?”
