That works, I will put her into the thread this afternoon . It's up to you if you want to add a little bit more recognition to her introduction dialogue if its a friend approaching her. I think 25th January is the closest day to the thread atm which is a hogsmeade day so she could be in town chaperoning hotspots for troublemakers like the library.
