Thanks for the replies, I will do all the non students first then a note to all the students together.
Samuel Griffith
I'm looking forward to having her interboth of them, I believe Crowley was a couple of years above her so she might recognise her from school given how striking her features are.
Henry Berkwood
We definately need to do something with the siblings, I'm thinking something like laughter over a misbehaving magical trinket in the shop.
A museum curator like Georgia certainly seems like the sort of person that Isla would have things in common with.
Millie Potts
I don't know if Charley would have sought out tutoring in magic from Isla but that is an in for them to be acquainted.
Daffodil Grimstone
The likes of Mason, a respected teacher with more experience would be looked up to by Isla, not that he's that much older but he is in his 11th year teaching from what I can work out. All three of the educated women you listed fit well. Elsie in particular because of Isla's history as a library archivist and academic curiosity means she is probably snooping around libraries still when she gets chance, looking for some newly published snippet or long forgotten treasure. So would be up for a thread in the library or elsewhere. I think the others are less likely to casually run into each other but would be the sort of people she would maintain friendships with if possible.
Gus Lissington
With so much crossover between the syllabi for the professors I expect close working together. I really enjoyed that crossover you did with Fox and even just referencing each other's lessons adds a lot of depth. From what I know of Gus I think they would get along well.
Deliah would have been the same year as Isla they could be friends. Her widowing was a couple of yeard after Isla's so if you want she would been one of those "it's hard now, I know, but trust me it gets better" friends.
For all the lovely students
Charms is a much more engaging subject with more stuff to get my muse going than my last subjects so I hope to get a young/middle/old student triple thread going on in the next couple of weeks. I want to make sure I do the subject justice so knowing which students are keen is very helpful. She values effort and determination so knowing that the likes Millie, Ramona, Charles and Lucy are the sort she might notice for such things is very helpful.
