The boy was in the smaller aisle to his right, with the mystery books, but he'd been quite insistent that it wasn't her child's presence wasn't the problem. What was he trying to get out of her? He wanted her to turn and walk away, to cede the entirety of the large aisle to him? That was rather ridiculous — and if he thought he was going to win on a matter of pointless, petty pride, he had never met Drusilla.
