Sorley Finn

This is Finn!  If you call him Sorley he'll know you don't like him.  He was around before under a slightly different name.  I've kept whatever events in his history I could remember but I don't know if his personality is exactly the same; I'm still getting a feel for him in posts again.

He's a jovial but slightly neurotic WC mediwizard who, thanks to his maladaptive coping special interest in all things medical, is equal parts brilliant and a mess.

ISO: Finn accidentally got married (or seriously involved in a non legal way) in 1884 thanks to amortentia.  Open to any class, blood status, and gender. They are not currently together and if they did get married he thinks the marriage was annulled.  Commitment/active involvement TBD I just love setting up history.

Friends:  Finn is part of the Revs gang but he also is prone to just going out and meeting new people because he doesn't like being alone for long stretches of time.  Probably easier to maintain if WC or coworkers but open to all.

Misc:

• He makes regular trips to the slums/Pennyworth to offer whatever medical help his professional (mediwizard) and personal (obsessive research) knowledge can manage. The treatments are probably more outdated, offbeat, or inventive than one might get from a proper healer but the people he helps can’t afford a proper healer and know what they are signing up for. He doesn't charge but ends up being given food or odds and ends in exchange. (see also: his obnoxious collection of knitwear)
  
• I'm in the market for some questionable life choices for him.  I haven't settled on what exactly but some options:
  • Susceptible to grifters selling snake-oil type stuff.  Possibly having adverse reactions/consequences to this.
    
  • A history of having or has a variety of bedfellows that he is not proud of but it beats being alone some nights
    
  • Accidentally getting caught up in something seedy/shady
    
  • Something something blood for vampires
    

Unlikely Long Shot: as a muggleborn Finn was disowned and ousted in 1877 when the Queen did her thing.  He was placed with 'distant relations' (which could mean anything) until he got his OWLS in 1880 after which he was staunchly independent so commitment would be minimal.
