Charlie stood next to his Mama, although not too close because he didn't want the other kids on the platform to think he was a mama's boy. The train ride would probably make or break him, at least that's what his family had told him as many of them had forged their friendships while riding to Hogwarts. Charlie just hoped that he would meet a friend quickly so Hogwarts wouldn't be quite so lonely. Of course he was excited to go, but he was also sad to leave his family, especially his brothers, and nervous about how he might fit in.
Mama's hand found his shoulder but Charlie straightened his back. No way was he a mama's boy. But then he quickly realized that she was probably going to miss him just as much as he was going to miss her, so he leaned into her couch, his gaze shifting toward her to see if she was crying yet. Hopefully Mama would save that for when he was gone. But she was looking somewhere and not at him, and as his gaze followed her, Charlie couldn't help but scowl.
Stupid Ignacio.
He didn't want to approach him, but somehow Charlie found himself in front of the boy before he could blink. Charlie frowned. "Hi." It was all he could muster as he watched his mother embrace Ignacio like he was her other son. Behind her back Charlie glared daggers at him.
