Phin had settled somewhere around guilty relief in how he was feeling after the sorting. He hadn't thought he belonged in Slytherin like the rest of his family, and it felt at least a little like he didn't have to live up to quite so many expectations now. Sort of. It might have been nice to share a dormitory with Caspian, but that was as close to regret as Phin's feelings came on the matter.
