A couple of quick notes as we wrap up August!


This weekend looks to be a charming one—that's right, it's our last Charming Weekend of the summer! We hope to see as many people as possible posting, socializing, and otherwise simply enjoying themselves <3

We're also running a Bingo tomorrow~


There are nine days left in this year's Camp Charming! Remember that we have two versions of participation this year:

Powerful Poster	Community All-Star
Post 200 times* from June 2 to September 1 (members who join on or after June 1st only need 100 posts!) Participate in three different OOC events Complete at least one IC thread (10+ posts, 3+ yours) started and finished during the CC period, and posted in the CC thread	Post 100 times* from June 2 to September 1 (members who join on or after June 1st only need 50 posts!) Participate in five different OOC events Complete at least one IC thread (10+ posts, 3+ yours) started and finished during the CC period, and posted in the CC thread

Camp Charming wraps the same day as our next AC—Sunday, September 8th!

Hogwarts students return to the castle on Sunday, September 1st! The sorting thread will be posted for first years this weekend—please note that sorting posts do not count for Charming Weekend!  It's not too late to lock in your first year predictions ;)

As always, students outside of Hogsmeade will need to take the train to the village—the Hogwarts Express travels from London to Hogsmeade, with a stop in Irvingly. Those located closer to Hogsmeade than to London would likely wish to take a regional train or a magical method of transportation. Once in Hogsmeade, first years will cross the lake via enchanted rowboats, while all other students will be brought to the castle in thestral-drawn carriages!
