Hauke is a German bachelor from a prestigious, extremely wealthy family with some... odd but hardly alarming customs. Patient, charming, and earnest, he arrived over the summer to get to know Hogsmeade, London, and England as a whole before starting his new job as Professor of Magical Theory at Hogwarts. Public rumor says he has come to England to seek a wife, after finding few appealing prospects around his own home-- and suggests that his inheritance, should he find a wife, would be significant. Yet, in the weeks since he arrived in England he has not been noted paying any individual lady overmuch attention. He smiles, and he chats, and he is always willing to indulge in a little conversation. He will get to know anyone, but he never seems to come back beyond a surface greeting.
For Hauke I am seeking:
- Potential hurling! Hauke's situation is a little bit complicated, in that he was born a woman and has been presented and raised as a man mostly to secure his family's inheritance. He does consider himself a man... sort of. In the end he considers himself neither, and is simply content to be seen as a man, but regardless of his outlook there is the terrible complication of the fact that any courtship would run into trouble where consummation is concerned. So, if you're interested in a fairly complicated situation? Let me know!
