Cash mimicked Hudson, taking a large sip of his whiskey. ''Apple!'' he exclaimed; he hadn't tasted fruit the first time, but with the whiskey opened up he could get some of the fruitiness. He had never bothered to taste a whiskey this deliberately before. It was interesting that this seemed like a regular hobby for Hudson.

''I'm not sure the fire whiskey has undertones,'' Cash admitted with a wry smile. ''But of course I'm willing to try it.''
