Nell's elder brother, ever the responsible, peacemaking sort. He took an ordinary Ministry desk job as that's what one does—though whether he actually likes it or whether he would prefer something more, Nell isn't certain. His wife was a year behind Nell in school, and since Nell's return he has been innately aware that the two do not get on and feels uncomfortable in his own home as a result. He has at least two children, but only one daughter. Pictured PB is Jacob Anderson with alternatives to be able to pass for mixed race.

HUGO BRIERLEY

B. 1866 | MCPB | GRYFFINPUFF | CURSEBREAKER

The youngest of the Brierley children, Hugo works as a cursebreaker and is often away from home (he keeps a modest set of rooms in London) for months at a time. While Nell is not about to begrudge him this, it did cause quite a bit of tension with Archibald, as well as their father, when Hugo did not return home for Harriet's funeral. He will return to England with an injury that looks to see him working as a consultant at best for the next few months. I do have some direct needs with Hugo, but beyond this he could be a temporary character. Pictured PB is Corbin Bleu with alternatives to be able to pass for mixed race.

DELILAH BRIERLEY

As a young girl, "Delilah" was encouraged to avoid trouble like the plague. Whether intentionally or not, she internalized this as upholding conformity and banality at all costs. Her brother-in-law being a cursebreaker is... suboptimal, but manageable. Nell, though, is altogether a different story. Oh, she's not rude to her sister-in-law, though she privately gripes to her husband about Nell's peculiarities. She does, however, work hard to mitigate Nell, both socially and her impact on the children. First name and ethnicity are both wide open! Pictured PB is Elizabeth Olsen.

DRUELLA FYNCH

Druella did not take her mother's passing particularly well, and has taken to writing overwrought poetry as a means of coping with the loss. While initially excited to meet her aunt, she quickly declared Nell "peculiar" and is slightly embarrassed to have Nell at Hogwarts with her. She does not take CoMC. The suggested PB is Tanzyn Crawford with alternatives to be passably mixed-race.

Of all Archibald's children, Mina is both the second and the only daughter. She is quite fascinated with her aunt, much to her mother's displeasure. She lives with her parents, siblings, and aunt in Hogsmeade.
