"I can do that," Monk volunteered eagerly. Honestly he would have fought someone for the privilege, so that he had a chance to personally vet the new housemate, but he didn't think anyone would put up much of a fight for it. Of everyone in the house, Monk had the most flexible schedule by far, since it depended entirely on his whims. "What's your definition of unbearable? Aside from, you know, the obvious," he said, but on reflection wasn't sure what the obvious was. "Being a vampire, or something," he ventured — though vampires might make decent housemates, honestly. They'd certainly never wake you up too early in the morning.
