Ned nodded, unfazed by her description. This was what he'd been expecting, but he'd wanted some confirmation from her before he brought out a list of titles that missed the mark. He didn't mind selling racy romance novels to frustrated young women, but he wasn't going to be the one to introduce the word sex to the conversation.

"Perfectly. Let me fetch you a list," he said cheerfully. He already had one made up, in his office — this was not an entirely uncommon request, and she hadn't asked for anything unusual enough to merit a deviation.
