Maybe that's not how other students saw it, but Dorian felt being in Potions Class was a massive comfort and like a warm blanket that enveloped him whole. He was a natural at Potions and out of all the things he needed to cram into his head before his O.W.L. exams at the end of the year, this was the one thing he knew he'd pass with flying colors and didn't need to worry himself sick over. A smile came over his face as he gently added each ingredient, measuring everything out with the precision that would meet his own strict standards.
