Quin arranged his features into one of mock astonishment, as if he would ever poison something! His entire Hogwarts career he'd had Skeeter constantly hissing at him, don't use that, it's poisonous! Taking a sip of his own lemonade, Quin watched poor Miss Dahlia's entire demeanor change and he worried for a moment he'd said something wrong, when she exclaimed something about her sister. The one who had likely been chaperoning her. Oh, yes. That was a problem. He tended to forget that being in places like his kitchen alone with young ladies was not looked upon favorably. Ah shit.

Quin gingerly and hopefully discreetly swiped a hand over the bite to ascertain as to whether he needed to change his pants before he walked Miss Dahlia home. Fortunately he couldn't feel a hole and hopefully Dahlia would have said something while he was making lemonade if she had noticed. "I'll walk you home or to the shop." Quin said as he pulled another long sip of his lemonade. In a matter of moments, her truffles (plus a few more things) were safely tucked inside a box to hopefully make up for the disaster.
