If there was a change in hue on her cheeks, Quin didn't notice. Between the running and the warmth in the shop (it always felt warm to him) he wouldn't be surprised to find a pink tinge on anyone's cheeks. Quin took a refreshing sip of his own lemonade and chuckled.

"My sister has never given me such kindness." Then again, she only got his beginning treats when he was still experimenting in his father's kitchen. He couldn't send her any magical treats and frankly he worried about sending anything the long distance home, so he tended to wait and bring a load home with him at the holidays or whenever he was able to sneak away for a long weekend. "I always find I learn more from my failures than my successes anyway. Plus it's fun to make a mess of it sometimes." And of course everyone had different tastes, so he needed multiple points of view.
