That wasn't really the way things worked, and if they'd been having this conversation in the light of day Victor likely would have said so. He couldn't test for "cursed" any more than a Bugs healer would be able to test for diseased; the label was too broad to be useful without further hints towards what might be the matter. Jasper was already having a difficult time, though, so Victor was inclined to agree. It might be mostly a placebo, but if it gave his brother some peace of mind, it was worth the effort.
