Summer Research Assignment
IC: Runes may be our oldest form of magic, but you do not always have to venture to an ancient cursebreaking site to find them — your task this summer is to try and find some runes out in the real world. This may be on an amulet in a shop or an antique object in your own home, or indeed you may find a whole assortment of them in convenient cases at the Museum of Magical Miscellany! Once you have found an interesting object or inscription, your task is to copy down the runes that appear on it and, if able, provide a short description of their context, ready to be presented in September.
OOC:
and / or
10 HP available for linking a completed thread set over the summer in which your character is rune-hunting! You can go as far afield and as outlandish as you like with your threads and objects, but as it's summer please note Professor Cramming takes no responsibility if you end up in St. Mungo's for handling dark cursed objects >.>
