Romance?? I don't think I've ever actually done a romance plot on Charming. I swear I enjoy them. You wouldn't know it.

Ruin someone's life. This can be related to the romance, I'm not picky.

Hey, I managed to be more active, but also that is still a resolution for this year. XD And... my TBR got worse. But I got 2 more characters to 75 and Harry's in the home stretch to 200 so. <.< And have made romance in-roads so yeeees. Gotta work on ruining people's lives. IC.

2025 Charming

Get Harry and Evangeline to 200. 75 for the small army of characters currently hovering in the 50s.

More romance. Hurl everybody. then make more characters when everyone's taken

Honestly, aside from a rough couple months when I fell off everything, 2024 was pretty good for my activity and I'd like to keep it that way through 2025. XD

Charming resolutions:
— have more character relationships that are INTENSE without being romantic. Ford/Cash are an example of this, Samuel/Don Juan might be trending that way. Ideally I'd love if each of my characters had at least one of these.

— Ezra needs some sort of meaningful interaction (like more than 1 thread) with someone who isn't Rosalie or related to him

— make more events that aren't parties. Set more threads at places other than parties.

Not sure I did well on any of those things, but I am CURRENTLY all caught up on grading, which I am doing better about at school!

I did not do well on those at all, why do I keep doing this to myself? I did read more books! Unfortunately this is up and down due to my mental health status, but better than it was!

Hey, I've got a resolution I think the site should adopt... 2025 sounds like a great time to revamp the rules, doesn't it?

There is some obvious low hanging fruit (image max width is 500px, lol? Activity checks on Saturdays?) but I for one would IMMENSELY appreciate having something codified (even vaguely!) re:
- guidelines for [M] thread markers or post- specific CWs/TWs
- discord community guidelines
- conflict resolution process if you have creative differences with someone
- AI use
- am I allowed to swear in thread titles?? I do but I am not sure??
- something something getting other people's buy-in for plot twists and developments? like I enjoy getting surprised but there's a definitely a line xD some "common courtesy" kind of guideline?
- also just explicitly stating that we're an inclusive community and don't be a bigot, not like that's been a problem but like... given JKR's stance on *waves hands* it couldn't hurt???

2024 RP Goals

-- Post at least 5x a week.
-- Start saving characters at the start of each month.
-- Develop more romantic ships because I love them.
-- Develop more IC connections in general.
-- SCANDAL
-- Marry a character off/get them courting/engaged organically.

Did not meet the first two lol. I think I did pretty decent ships and IC connections wise, mainly because I keep getting sucked into want ads for families with active members or plottable friend groups. Made building blocks for Minty to be courting soon, fingers crossed!

2025 RP Goals

-- Mini post spree at least once a week.
-- Start saving characters at the start of each month.

-- Drink less coca-cola.
