After a magical attempt on her life in 1877, Queen Victoria launched a crusade against magic that, while tidied up by the Ministry of Magic, saw the Wizarding community exiled to Hogsmeade, previously little more than a crossroad near the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the years that have passed since, Hogsmeade has suffered plagues, fires, and Victorian hypocrisy but is still standing firm.
Thethe year is now 1895. It’s time to join us and immerse yourself in scandal and drama interlaced with magic both light and dark.

Knox is the Head Butler of a young newlywed couple that recently moved to London. He is hardworking, playful and clever. He has a tawdry history that has been kept under wraps so no one knows much about his personal history beyond what he is willing to share. Part of that history is now his next door neighbor.
Friends & Such: Knox would have a good amount of friends, I imagine. He has always been charismatic and quick to make friends, even in his Hogwarts days. Maybe some of these friendships started in Hogwarts and kept up even after he left to go into domestic service?
Romance: He is gay and any dalliances he might have had would be fellow working class men (he was not at all left traumatized for a lifetime by what happened the last time he dallied with the son of his employers, not at all >.> <.<). These would be starting from 1884 as it did take him a while to move past his ex-lover enough to even have physical relations. These were still often superficial flings at best with minimal deeper meaning beyond good friendship.
Schoolmates: Knox was only a Hufflepuff from 1864-167 after which he had to leave due to a lack of finances. He went into Domestic Service like many of his family before him.
