Elon's father died just before the end of his fifth year, making Elon inherit way earlier than anyone would have expected. Because he was a teen with poor judgment, he dropped out of school. He was going through a period of not having any passions in life (something which he still struggles with) because being rich has kind of stripped him of the need to try for anything. Here we all cry with a backdrop of sad violin music.

I ended up disappearing before I had the chance to develop his first steps into the adult world.

I really want to explore what it's like to be still a child with so much freedom. I like the idea of Elon being taken advantage of for his money. I also want him to have an influence on poor life choices: maybe he ends up with a gambling addiction?

In terms of:

FRIENDS -- other young characters in the 17-21ish age range.

LOVERS -- he's roughly the same age as the newest batch of debutantes, so a romantic plot wouldn't be out of the question. Personally, I'm really into the idea of a social climber (either a middle-class debutante or her family), trying to take advantage of Elon's youth and naivety for upward mobility. Elon is the sort of person to fall hard in love, so it'd be fun for him to believe he's found romance while your girl just wants the bag. xD

ENEMIES -- it's not hard to imagine why your character may not like Elon. xD

I think if it wasn't for his blood he and Cad would be besties - as it is, Cad probably cultivated him as a friend.

I'm sure @"Emma Binns"'s father would be encouraging Emma into his company. Not necessarily for romantic reasons but because its the society he things his family belongs in.

I think the only person I can truly offer him is Juniper Edevane, who would side eye the hell out of him and be unimpressed at every single turn. She's newly debuted, so there's that.

Timoleon Maxime is way older than he is, but he enjoys collecting blackmail and using people as stepping stones to make his own family name prestige. He would definitely manipulate Elon if he thought he'd be useful to him.

OH. Well, you've met Clifford Hillicker I don't think they'd ever interact, but if there's ever a chance, Cliff would H-A-T-E him with a deep, dark passion. Because he's rich, spoiled and upper class. (All of which Cliff wants to be but he's bottom of the barrel WC.)

Emma and Elon could be fun! They could potentially know each other from being in Ravenclaw together, though with their age gap they probably wouldn't be super close. We could have them interact!

*Ida Chang is getting 'fixed' by her UC friends to try and marry up. She's generally sour as f so hard to know how it'll go. But I am always down for throwing her in anywhere with anyone

* Cassian Valenduris a bit older than Elon but was in a similar position, inherited way too early as a youth, if you want a 'positive role model' there haha

*Thomas Harvey might be too scared of jail from swindling Elon out of his $ but if Elon needs someone to do some investigating around him or his family investigates Elon, that could be interesting haha. Tom is the type to get personally invested in someone being alright if they seem to be in over his head or he sees something bad happening. Could even be a situation where 'the swindler' contracts Tommy to see how much they can pull out of Elon and Tommy feels too bad to carry thru/warns Elon (Elon can interpret that 'help' in a good or bad way haha). Or. less complicated. Elon gets wasted being served by Tom at some party and Tommy catches him getting taken advantage of idk
