Arven here is a consummate loner and traveller who returns home but once a year~ The time has almost come for him to chase the horizon once again, but I'd like a reason for him to remain in Britain!

For example:

- He falls for someone. Could be a respectable MC lady that his family approves of course, but might be more interesting for it to be someone more controversial, such as a married lady. I'd also be open to a fellow for this, but I think he'd have to be an androgynous type for Arven to find himself with such an infatuation~

- He gets someone pregnant!

- He becomes committed to something such as a project, mystery to be solved, or a child/someone who needs his help.

- I'd love to hear any other ideas people may have!

PS. If you'd be up for a thread with Arv but nothing re: the above, pls feel free to jump into one of my opens (beep and boop).

If you need a temporary stopgap, injuries are always fun. Maybe send him on the upcoming Africa expedition and have him trampled by a wildebeest? Or wait for something from the SWP to blow up again?

Yep, what Kayte said! The church chartered the ship but lots of others are tagging along, including some magizoologists and a photographer. And Alfred is captaining so he'll be there, too.
