None of her immediate mortal family remain living. If she has any living relatives, she would not recognize them.
General | A mere five feet tall, Edith makes up for her petite stature with presence and beauty, with luxurious golden hair, brilliant dark brown eyes, and a surprisingly clear complexion. She is right-handed.History:
Expressions | Edith is an open book, offering free smiles and clear displeasure on her face.
Deportment | Unafraid to be herself, Edith is a surprisingly relaxed person, despite all she's been through. She walks to show off whatever she's wearing.
Fashion | Surprisingly chic for a working class person, Edith makes her own clothes, using the money she would spend on food were she mortal on the fabric to make the garments. She will often walk about High Street in the evenings and nights, showcasing her designs and hoping someone with connections will catch interest.
Accessories | Edith does not have the funds to spare on accessories, and any she had from her mortal days was sold, either by her sire in the last two centuries or by herself to fund her housing.
Scent | Another hobby of Edith's is perfumery, which isn't cheap, but she manages to keep a stock of lavender oil to prevent herself from developing a foul fragrance.
Distinguishing Characteristics | The deathly pallor of vampirism is inescapeable, as are the sharp, prominant fangs. Edith is barely accustomed to having even the influx of blood being registered with the Ministry of Magic provides, and as such sometimes looks...underfed.

i didn't know you well back then
i blame it all on luck and vain1601-1626 Her name was Edith Kent.
She had two sisters and four brothers.
She attended Hogwarts, sorted into bold and brash Gryffindor.
Her mother died giving birth to her, and her father never remarried.
Her elder brother, Avery, is the only reason she knows any of these truths. Some six weeks after the night her mortal life ended, she and her sire accidentally crossed his path as he departed a late house call. He recognized her immediately for what she had become, as well as who she had been, and shared these facts when informed of her amnesia, but nothing more.it's not my fault
i'm not to blame1626
September 9But the night her mortal life ended is largely still quite present in her brain, sans a few details.
A group of strange men came upon her as she walked home, maid in tow, and attacked her. Specifically her. The maid was able to run free, screaming. At some point, Edie knows, she hit her head on the brick wall, resulting in amnesia. The men were spooked off of her not long after her head injury, and in her haze, she recalled a dark savior, offering her a chance at immortality. Given the choice was between immortality and bleeding to death on the street, she made her choice.these ain't my sins
i broke my chains1627-1656 They remained in London for a while, but it was difficult to keep up appearances after a time. Edith was quite content to leave behind what remained in London, as she felt no emotional ties to the place. All that remained of her mortal life was a gravestone. 1657-1893 For over two hundred years, Edith has travelled with her sire, their family expanding now and then, until there were eight of them in all. But Edith was the first. Yet their sire was not always particularly kind, with a temper to rival the gods Edith read about in the books she could get her hands on. No two days were spent the same, and frequently, their sire's tempers would result in injuries to one or more of the vampiric siblings.
When their sire was in those moods, however, it was often Edith that was the first victim. Something about how sweet her screams sounded.
Much of this time was spent keeping their little family up to date on the latest fashions of the places they lived. They never really stayed in one place longer than thirty years, and often needed to keep up appearances.
They were frequently told the world was cruel and unfair to vampires — a fact which they saw almost every time they left the "family" home — and that they would find no better home than with their sire.
Edith got lucky. She found a modiste in magical Paris who was willing to overlook her fangs and thirst for blood, in favor of her skills as a seamstress, after learning the finely made clothing she wore was of her own make. The modiste gave her a night job, providing the parameters and fabric of each piece, which would be completed in a single night. The clients never learned their garments were completed by a vampire, yet Edith received a commission from each completed piece.there's more to do
and i still want to live1894 Finally fed up with everything, Edith ran away. She booked passage back to the British Isles from France with money saved from working evenings and nights for a decade, a secret kept from her sire. She was directed to Hogsmeade by a surprisingly helpful person in her port of arrival, and reached the magical village mere weeks ago, with only the clothes on her back, a sketchbook of fashion designs, a parasol, and a handful of remaining money.
After a few days hiding in the Forbidden Forest during the day, Edith found someone in the slums willing to rent to a vampire, and for a discounted cost, so long as she offered her sewing services to the landlord's family for free as additional payment. It's a one-room hovel, but it's a solid roof and solid walls, without a window in sight, offering the sun protection she needs. She immediately began advertising her services to those in the slums who could afford it. Two centuries of sewing experience, after all, is impossible to find in a mortal seamstress...i can't go yet
