After a magical attempt on her life in 1877, Queen Victoria launched a crusade against magic that, while tidied up by the Ministry of Magic, saw the Wizarding community exiled to Hogsmeade, previously little more than a crossroad near the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the years that have passed since, Hogsmeade has suffered plagues, fires, and Victorian hypocrisy but is still standing firm.
Thethe year is now 1895. It’s time to join us and immerse yourself in scandal and drama interlaced with magic both light and dark.

Remy is a French artist that attended an artist intensive with Irene Crawley and befriended her there. Eventually, he will be moving to the UK. He is a cheerful, friendly guy that often has a smile on his face.
Former schoolmates: Remy attended Beauxbatons from 1874-1881 so would know any Beauxbatons attendees that attended during that time frame.
Friends & Such: Remy is a rather cheerful guy. He has a friend group in Lady's plottables but if your character was in France at all during his lifetime before 1893, I am open to possible 'met during a summer break and stayed penpals' type things. But beyond that, he is going to move to the UK at a currently undetermined time so he could befriend characters then.
Romance: Remy has been in love with Mateo since their Beauxbatons days but never said a word about it. In fact, he suppressed it so that he could try and move on with his life and thought he had succeeded. He recently realized... this was a lie. And in fact, his feelings for Mateo are stronger than ever.
That being said, did your non-hetero male character have reason to go to France from 1882-1892? A bit of an opening there for Remy to possibly have had some flirtation with them.
She is quite a bit younger, but Tabitha Chevalier has French roots and could have visited at any point during her summers near the end or after Hogwarts!
Alright you are intimately familiar with all my characters I think xD And I have no one for prior connections, but once he's here local I'm down to friend-hurl him with Ford, Jules, Alasdair, or Victor who are the closest to his age from my crew. <3
He's the same age as Gus, and I feel like their personalities would help them get along splendidly. He's also really good friends with Irene.
