~— A B O U T — FRIENDS: Fellow professors, fellow former curse breakers, former class and house-mates from his Hogwarts days. He graduated a Gryffindor alumnus in 1871, married New Year's Day 1880, and has five children. He's not a very amiable sort, but he is loyal to those who show him loyalty. STUDENTS: Per the current Class Roster list, this includes Greta Gillenwater, Millie Potts, and Hesper Gamp at the OWL level and Iphigenia Adebayo, Matilda Farris, and Sisse Thompsett at the NEWT level. All ladies. Hudson is a little confused. FAMILY: I will be including an ad for his immediate family, but in addition to his wife and children, he has four siblings — three brothers and a sister — as well as their families.

I have some guys around his age (Edward Flourish and Xavier Davies of the MC variety) - Xav also worked as a cursebreaker for a bit so they might know each other from there, though tbh Xav is not on good terms with many people who knew him as a cursebreaker for obvious reasons >>

Currently I have no students taking his class Maybe someday!

But, for adults I have Thomas Pembroke who is his colleague and teaches Muggle Studies. You put new muggle inventions in his dislikes so it makes me think of Thomas's new items for class increasingly annoying him in the staff room xD

Then I have Cornelius Flint who might have been interested in his findings from an academic research standpoint? Like someone who might write letters for a professional opinion on some ancient artifact he's archiving or something.

Xav and Hudson's curse-breaking years do overlap, and yes, I do think Hudson would not be on good terms with Xav. But that doesn't mean they can't thread! XD

There's actually a reason Hudson doesn't like new muggle inventions. He tends to break them, so he thinks they're all needlessly fragile and thus pointless! It would still be incredibly funny to have a staff room thread with the pair of them, because other than breaking his stuff all the time, I think Hudson would actually like Thomas. He thinks muggleborn wizards and witches need a solid support system, and he's happy to be part of that — he'd also try to introduce Thomas to his wife, during school break.

Hudson thinks Cornelius needs a new family, but otherwise, he would be very willing to share his academic and professional opinion. Just as long as the artifact isn't dangerous. He doesn't need his wife getting angry at him, haha.

lmaoo Thomas trying to show him his new muggle things and somehow every single time Hudson manages to break them xD He definitely would be exasperated, but he appreciates that he also tries to help muggleborns and otherwise would think he's a good dude.

Thomas doesn't really have a support system of his own; his parents are sort of okay with everything but mostly stay out of it so he's on his own so he definitely relates to Hudson's wife to a degree. That's part of the reason why he tries to be there for his students.

As for Cornelius, is this a dig at the Flints or the fact he needs a wife because?? xD Nah, this is where his purism differs from others - he will let it go if it benefits him academically. He won't say shit about Hudson's marriage choices so long as he can talk to him from a professional standpoint.

Endymion Dempsey is a cursebreaker, started in 1878 so they might have worked together on assignment in the past!

Philip Rowle, Evander Darrow aaaand at a push Trystan Selwyn are vaguely around his age. Philip's in the Research Committee so potentially advised on some ~research things while he was a museum curator?
