Welcome to Charming, where swirling petticoats, the language of flowers, and old-fashioned duels are only the beginning of what is lying underneath…
After a magical attempt on her life in 1877, Queen Victoria launched a crusade against magic that, while tidied up by the Ministry of Magic, saw the Wizarding community exiled to Hogsmeade, previously little more than a crossroad near the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the years that have passed since, Hogsmeade has suffered plagues, fires, and Victorian hypocrisy but is still standing firm.
Thethe year is now 1895. It’s time to join us and immerse yourself in scandal and drama interlaced with magic both light and dark.

Did You Know?
Did you know? Jewelry of jet was the haute jewelry of the Victorian era. — Fallin
Winny wasn't too surprised considering what Natty had told him earlier about his wife. "I'm honoured, too," he said, pressing a little kiss to the tip of Nattys nose. He considered the others words before smiling. "Is that what I have? Most say I live in the clouds." Which was frankly ridiculous as he imagined clouds must be a little unlivable for humans.
Natty smiled up at the lad in his lap, charmed (as ever) by his antics. But they knew each other well enough now that he had to admit... "you do live in the clouds". And it was evident by Natty's tone and the twinkle in his eyes that he found this fact very endearing. "But at least you let me visit you there."
Winny laughed as the other said that he did live in the clouds. "You can visit me in my clouds anytime you want," he said as he snuggled up closer against the older man. "I feel so very deeply for you." Obviously, likely, since he wouldn't really be in the mans lap if he didn't. He might have often been very affectionate with his friends but beyond his third or fourth year, he had never sat in anyones laps. That he could recall anyway.
"I feel the same", Natty heard himself reply instinctively, and truthfully so as he wrapped his arms loosely around his cuddly cloud-walker. "I don't know what that means in the wider world.... but I suppose we don't need the wider world for moments like this."
"No, we do not," Winny said in agreement. So long as they had each other, things would be fine. Even Winny, oblivious as he could be to some of the worlds issues, knew it was best to keep a relationship like this under wraps. Which was sad as he would have loved to tell everyone he knew how Nattys green eyes dazzled him like jade. "Perhaps someday the rest of society will catch up to accepting that people like us exist."
"Even I barely know who I am", Natty admitted, which was something he'd never shared before. It wasn't just about what transpired to be his bisexuality. He was a soulful writer who lived his life mending fences and plucking weeds. Sometimes he felt like he'd been born into the wrong world.
"Do any of us really know who we are?" Winny asked, a whimsical tone to his voice as he played with a strand of Nattys hair. "But what I know of you so far... I am quite fond of."
Ever captivated — and increasingly distracted entirely — by Winston, Natty smiled faintly at the sweet words, and again ushered him forward for a kiss he once again failed to resist.
