WCHB | 23 | Tree Farmer | Former Gryffindor

This is Cliff Hillicker, your local tree farmer. He lives in the middle of nowhere Porchester, England on a tree farm that produces magical wood for brooms and wands. He’s pretty rude, brash and has sticky fingers.

Friends: Former Gryffindor, ‘80-‘85, he dropped out after OWLS because his family couldn’t afford it. Cliff was also a chaser for the quidditch team his 3rd-5th year, and had dreams of going professional. Obviously, didn’t happen. Anyhow, I feel like he’d have some kind of friends he still sees, or at least people he likes that he hasn’t screwed over.

Disdain:  Cliff has sticky fingers and has a tendency to take what he wants. (Or tries, at least.) He can be rude and angry, especially to UC, but it’s mainly because he’s jealous of them. He has a little (half) sister who lives him, and she runs amuck in the magical world with little rules or care. If someone complains, he’d tell them to bigger off because she’s not his responsibility. His little (half) brother is currently at Hogwarts and probably not much better.

Hurls: He’s not interested in a family (yet, at least?) because he can barely feed the family he has. He thinks either gender is cute and may have crushes here and there, but wouldn’t actively seek someone out. Whatever happens, happens.

Other: Business partners? Aka people who make brooms or wands lol. He doesn’t know his dad’s side of the family, so could be some fun there too.

I would like to violently throw @"Daffodil Potts" at him because I want them to nerd out about pants together, also her new crush is a broom maker so she wants to know all about magic trees.

He might know Owen as well if they overlapped on the Gryffindor team!

He is going to have a huge crush on Poppy Dashwood sooo... that'll be fun. But they could be friendlyish? Or maybe Cliff just can't stand his smug face and the fact that everyone around him went pro and not him xD

Speaking of broommakers Elias Grimstone could def be a business partner! He used to be working class but worked his way up to middle so idk if there would be any tension there but that could be an interesting added angle here xD

If he has a crush on Poppy Dashwood Kristoffer Lestrange will presumably be D< at him, and Kris also has no respect for WC people so fun here either way LOL

He would have had some overlap with Tybalt Kirke on the Gryff team and Theodore Gallivan on the Ravenclaw house team, both of whom went on to have quidditch-adjacent careers, so either friendly or awkward acquaintances now?

Rosamund Bones was his year and housemate but probably wouldn't cross paths w/him unless he needs patching up at the hospital; she is UC and is sympathetic to class differences but doesn't have patience for rudeness.

Haha, well, Cliff will either be like ohgoodthereshope (which LBH, he's not ready to have yet xD), or just kind of angry that it's never him (which is more his speed lol). BUT, yes, would love for them to business partners Elias Grimstone

For Kris, he obviously knows he has nooo shot, she's just pretty lol. Fox and I have a mini plot for them, which involves Poppy basically being oblivious to him. (sidebar: June also will not like Cliff for being all goopy around Poppy, so if they need a moment to bond xD this is it.) Cliff would also hate Kris for being UC on principle, so lol. Yes please. He's super rude and brash, and won't care what Kris has to say. 

Haha, so I think I stalked Thomas Aldridge's thread and he and Tybalt would be friends? Cliff is friends with Thomas, so I think they would be friendly(ish?)  Theodore... he probably would be awkward acquaintances for now. He probably talked a lot of crap during the game and well... we see how well that worked out for him xD

Haha, Rosamund, oh. Well, automatically he probably thinks she's cute too. And I see him in a lot of scuffles and things because well... he's an idiot and he likes to be in places he has no business being in xD BUT, he'd be super angry at having landed himself in St. Mungo's or even just needed help on the street. He's sorry in advance?

So whee broommaking business things, Kris enemies, can see them getting in a duel or a fistfight xD (and agreed re: sidenote, excellent reason for Kris & June to bond LOL), def yes to Tyb/Thomas/Cliff friends, and Rosamund would either be awkward around him or gently chiding and thinking he's an idiot, idk, will be interesting to see what she's like with a grumpy patient xD

So basically everything's fab, start anything for whichever you like whenever? <3

Temerita Reid is a wandmaker and obsessed with magical woods. She even has favorite trees. She would 100% be put off by his personality but it wouldn't keep her away unless he was absolutely wretched to her because she is that much of a wand-woods enthusiast.

Lol, Cliff is a handful, but I mean, he'd love to have someone around to geek out about magical wood with, so maybe he'll put on his "nice" hat when he's around her. Especially because eventually, hopefully, he'll make money off her buying things. Anyhow xD want a starter at some point?
